I noticed that the level of your character never really matters, but having the higher level weapons and armor does help.
Do you get any higher level weapons with this new save?

Two level 8500 fire swords.
Edit: Right, I've tested this shit, it's not great. It helps a tiny bit, but what we still really need is an instant kill cheat.
You still do roughly the same damage as a level 1 does against you, and you take roughly the same as well.
Someone figure out how to 1-hit kill these faggots. |

I'm thinking the PvP may simply be a different system that kicks in and negates most of the level-related advantages so you have to rely on skill/tactics etc.
Or it could just be broked.
