Lawl. I gots jury duty this week so I probably won't be available very often. That's why there are three other admins though, go bug them about shit lol.

Day 1: Had to be at the justice building at 8am, so I was awake at 6:30, which is liek an hour after I normally fucking go to bed! Trash Bear

Barely got 2 hours sleep, but enough to function. Go up, they scan me in along with about 400 others and we wait about an hour. They start assigning us to jury panels, 8 in all. Three were released by the time they got assigned (the cases apparently settled without trial), two others got a break for a few hours before they had to go in. I was stuck in the one group that got neither of those lol. Finally about 12:30 though, they dismissed our group and that was it for today.

Free coffee and there's vending machines, bathrooms, magazines, etc. Chairs aren't bad. Not any worse than waiting in an airport. Gwinnett County pays $30 for every day you report. So I basically got paid 30 bux to sit and read magazines for 4 hours. And since I work in the evening/night, I still get my normal income, so the jury pay is just extra monies.
