This reminds me of something.
Lets say that you are in a school that always has 100 2nd graders in it. If you kill one, the body disappears and a new Rei's Dead adopted sister spawns randomly in the school. You cannot escape from the school, and all the kids are trying to kill you with whatever they can find, and the same goes for you. They are like zombies, biting, relentless and pretty stupid, just not infectious or strong.
How long would you last.
This needs to be a video game.

Hmm...this does have potential. Key to survival would probably be in maiming as many as possible without killing them (broken back, etc). That way they don't respawn but they can't do much against you either.
Of course, they might figure out to kill the maimed ones so they respawn anyway...
