A raid site that doesn't do a lot of raiding is hardly a raid site, but a shell of what it used to be. The radio seems to be overbearing right now, but I can guarantee you that if this place weren't turning slowly into the forum adaptation of the 4chan group on livejournal, this wouldn't be as big of an issue as people make it out to be. Pretty much. It can be deceiving, especially since we're not only in the pre-7/12 lull (a general moratorium on major raids between MLK and 7/12 to keep everyone from getting burned out) but also recovering from a year that was filled with faggotry and drama as the failures were cleansed. Read through the Get LERNED and Afro Pick forums for a basic history of the major events and the sometimes-lulzy, often-frustrating process of me learning how to run a site that doesn't suck.
Right now the radio is the most active part of Pool's Closed, much because Supreet/nothing0011 is really good at it. It can seem overbearing, but it isn't ever intended to become what the place is about. More of a parallel function that supports/extends the main site like the Nigrapedia does.
