2. Check device manager when you plug it in to see if it the computer recognizes it.

3. Make sure your fucking USB/FIREWIRE ports work  jynx

By the time windows 2000 becomes unsupported (sometime around mid 2010), ReactOS should be kicking pretty good ass.

Hell, it can already play quake 3, and many other windows programs and boots up completely from a live disk on my computer in less than 10 seconds.




If not, I'll probably use Gobolinux because is has a filesystem that makes sense to people with good hygiene.
