As I expected, it's not happening.

While Nothing0011 is beside himself over the issue, and The Internet is ready to RIP AND TEAR, allow me to just put some insight into this...

I expected this to happen from the beginning. No surprise here that it got "waitlisted." This is a nice way of saying "No." Too many con execs associate 4chan with what it is, and want to "keep their family-friendly image." Of course, this also probably involved a few faggots trying to badmouth the few awesome people who helped make it possible.

I have the opportunity to panel-hijack a friend's panel, but I don't think I'm going to do that. Too much to be done just for a panel that might get halted in the middle of its procession.

The only place we have a chance with a 4chan panel, of course, is Another frogsex Con in Nashua, NH around the month of October.

Most cons are good for trolling, and only a very few are good for panels. AB was good for it's size. AB is also good for its size of being able to troll.

If you do go to AB, of course, we can do better than hold a panel. We should, in spite of the rejection of the panel, form the world's largest swastiget.

Yeah, it sucks.

Yeah, it's a down note.

Yeah, we were denied, and nothing of value was lost.

I end this post undeterred from my interior motive.

I would recommend not showing up to Anime Boston. Your dollars speak volumes.

Don't go. Make them realize that until they bring back good programming (like what we had going) and an excellent game room (I was running it since 2003) then your time and money does not hold any place with their organization.

Who cares if all of your friends are going, make them realize that they are wasting their time and money they could spend on something productive.

Instead, patronize AnotherAnimeCon in October.
