ok UPDATE

panel was COMPLETE FAIL.

Anon came to us saying our panel blows theirs outta the water. Even our CTcon panel was better then theirs.

Supreet took the wrong train and had to whistle for a cab to go to the airport.

So this is the deal.

I approached moot on two occasions to help him with photography for the panel. On both times I asked him he agreed.

Saturday night rolls around and there is a PS3 sized line outside of Panel 4. I waited and chatted it up with a few /b/tards, plugged pc.us many times and an announcement is made.

"NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR CAMERAS INCLUDING CELLULAR PHONES ARE ALLOWED WITHIN THE PANEL."

That sets off a Arachnosexual in my mind and all I can think is "what the fuck?".

So moot comes outside and I ask him about the rule. He takes responsibility for creating it but then I ask him about helping him out, as I do so some dude from the inside comes escorted by security. This dude has a camera in his hand and I have no idea who he is.

The security staffer asks moot if he is one of the "approved" photographers, moot goes on to say yes. I then ask him again about having me help him out which he responds to "IT'S NOT OPEN FOR DISCUSSION! DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM?" I said yes and before I could even tell him why he yells for security who happens to be the head of security for all of Otakon.

I promptly say "If this is how you are going to handle the situation then fuck you and your panel. Asshole."

I locate Count /b/lackula and Pantsman and haul ass out of the fucking con.

Seriously, fuck Otakon and fuck moot.

A bunch of people apparently told us our panels at CTcon and AB were better, anyhow. We were even jewed out of the most of the panel in CTcon, too!

In simple, I declare we make AB the official PoolsClosed con, and now instead of it just being the 4chan panel, we now call the panel, "Panel's Closed."

I also propose that we take this con up in Nashua by storm, make things to sell, and sell shit to anyone who wants to buy our wares, even if it's in our panel or just walking around.

We have already made it into frogsex /b/oston, soon enough we'll end up having to call it "Con's Closed."

awesome, nice to see that Otakon panel bombed. Designated photographers?! WTF?!! srsly Moot needs to stop being so "serious business! drama drama drama" and realize that 4chan panels are basically for meme yelling, ORGASMIC CROCODILE awarding and general shenanigans not a "this is 4chan according to me, fuck you guys". But he never will which is why he fails so fukken hard.
