Actually, the Swastica was originally the symbol for the sun in mysticism.

It's also a celtic good luck symbol.

A basic geometric design independently created in multiple areas of the world as a good luck symbol.

Nazis took it (because, hell, who doesn't like luck on their side?) and thus ruined it, along with the tiny moustache.
